String and Setup help

I've got a T/D Recurve with a set of 49# & 60# limbs. I haven't shot the bow in several yrs and then it was with the 60# limb. I'm dropping down to 49 and need some help with ordering a string.

49# @ 26"
60" on 17" Riser

Any guidance would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Short of your original string being worn to a point of needing to be replaced I don't see a need to order one for your 49# limbs, the original should work fine. Perhaps the one for the 60# limbs is a 12 or 14 strand and you want to drop to a 10 strand, not sure.

If the bow is the same length with both sets of limbs take the string off hang it on a nail pull and measure it.
