Struck out at Tybee Jetties

Got down to Tybee today around 3:00pm for a 4 day weekend. Fished the jetties with the tide coming in. Fished pompano rigs with fresh shrimp and some fish bites. Managed 3 small whiting and a wheel sized stingray. Can anyone point me in the right direction where we may catch something worth while and what kind of setup. Thank you

Try a topwater at first light or late evening.

Tybee is a tough fishery. You did well. You caught the usual suspects at Tybee. Small sharks are also common. Try Carolina rig with fresh shrimp around structure. If you can get live bait fish then use the same rig on the south end of Tybee for some flounder. Good luck.
