There is a grove of good-sized eucalyptus trees right beside my property on the SC/GA line a good ways above Augusta. I never realized they would grow that far north until I saw those.

Eucalyptus is poisonous to just about everything but koalas when ingested.

They had a bunch of them planted in one of the bases we took over in Iraq. They grow great in desert areas. My father-in-law had a couple growing in his yard near Phoenix AZ. I think the silver dollar eucalyptus is my favorite species of eucalyptus. A few folks in my subdivision have some planted.
