sea trout

2021 Turkey Challenge Winner 2022 biggest turkey ?
Gut Pile, thanks again for doing this... I must say I am surprised at the numbers. Figured they would be lower based on the turkey population in my hunting area. Pretty much gone extinct where I hunt. Glad to know there are still turkeys in some areas of Georgia. Hope they make a comeback in my area soon.
My thoughts exactly.
And with it rainin most Saturdays this year.
We are now also seeing a decline in some of our spots just like others have said they've seen it for a few or more years now. Not all our spots but a couple of them. But I've not heard or seen as many birds this spring as in years past.
But the reslts are cool! Thanks @Gut_Pile for always postin that for us!
And congrats to all the success!!!!

Any extra male turkeys due to a better hatch last year (due to less disturbance during first 2 weeks of breeding, if that actually happened) would have been jakes this year and not 2 yr olds.
That's why I said..."over time" instead of "this year".

The reality is that two years' worth of data isn't enough to draw any conclusions. We will need to look back 10-15 years from now to see any trends and even then it will be difficult to tell whether the changes were the cause of those trends.
