Out this afternoon with Bennett and Joey to do some deep water fishing. Talk about trash talking....these two military dudes take it serious! We're talking world class trash talkers

Found a few schools and boated them on the spoon and drop shot. One place....a boat is idling slowly by us and we triple up with some good ones. We also boated some crappie on the spoon too in this same area. We found a lot of bait deep with fish eating them...about 40' down.

We kept moving and looking....found another good school ....spoon and drop shot again with Blue Lily and our Lanier Baits spoon from Georgia Blade. We were finding and boating fish every few places.

Pulled up on the last area as it was getting dark....Bennett saw some fish busting the surfaced....eased over there and got on another school. I think we ended the afternoon with 14-15 fish and boy, the Humminbird's were showing out today.

Bennett wants to go back out to learn more about the ditch bite when it gets going good. LJ
