Learned something. I thought those were low land, murky water stream types. I've only ever read about them being in the Mississippi River and such.

We used to see them in 12 Pole creek and Sours creek. Never saw a 2 footer tho.

Seen a few in north east Georgia. First one I saw crawled up on the rock I was standing on and scared me pretty good when I looked down and seen it at my foot.
