My wife requested some charcoal grilled thighs last night so I had to dust off the old yardsale weber that I bought a while back. First time using this one and it drove just like it should. Chicken was marinated in vegetable oil, cider vinegar, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika before gettingbs going on the grill. Also throwed a foil wrapped onion on there for good measure. She sautéed some asparagus with parmesean and we called it supper.Screenshot_20220206-102644_Gallery.jpg

Looks great. Haven't used charcoal in a while. Definitely adds to the flavor and the smell always brings back fond memories of camping and such.

Whats the deal with the onion. You add and seasoning salt or anything to it when you wrap it up?
Sure do, I cut mine I to 8ths but I don't cut it all the way through. I then dust the top with seasoning "I just use my steak seasoning" then lay slices of butter on top. In my opinion when the butter melts, it helps carry the seasoning on down into the onion.
