Final deer hunt of the season for me was today and it was quite miserable. Cold, rain, no wind. The kind of day that just sucks the heat from your core and chills you no matter how much wool you're wearing.

I got home and fixed the internal heater with some crowders, smoked sausage, rice, and a good amount of green onions and Crystal. Oh and a buttermilk soaked and fried chicken thigh is hiding under those peas and sausage. Warmed me right up.

Sorry your hunt was unsuccessful. I finished my Ga. season as well. Having a celebratory sip of whiskey before bed.
