I have a 300 win mag with a brake on it I like the brake for sighting in or bench shooting but for hunting it’s to loud ... so what’s the best caps ?

Best thread cap I have found is a silencer.

I like the knurled ones because I can remove them by hand. I think Brownels has a half dozen or so listed so pick your poison.
