Timing for chemical burning sunflower field

I plan to burn my sunflower field down with Gramoxin but not sure if this weekend is to soon??

Then plan to burn the field with fire the weekend before opening day.

We will be cutting strips from this weekend until season.

I wouldn't waste money on chemical. They will die on their own, if you didn't plant to late. The heat has nearly dried mine out now. If your field is good and clean, I wouldn't even mess with burning. If you have under growth, you should burn in 2 weeks.
