to early to use pogy's as bait for reds?

just curious if it mattered when to use them or should it be used only when they are around?

It is never too early,,,,,,, or too late to use the Pogy, Mullet, or Shrimp to fish for trout or redfish.... If any one of the three are around you can rest assured that redfish as well as trout will be feeding on them.....

They'll eat em anytime.... We caught that nice one on Sunday with a chunk of whiting, but the fish hit when pogies were falling across the river..... Use them if they're in decent shape. You'll catch one....

We caught several bull reds today (4-23) on Pogies... They were small, but the reds just dont care....

Get out near the channel markers (5 and on) or better yet, on the outside of the breakers on the back river, or in front of little Tybee and Wassaw.
