Trick or Treat

I think it’s even crazier here. Got 200 in Woodstock, but folks go all out here. We would go to the lake most years too! Never had a treater there.

We don't have many trick or treatsters here but I can remember enjoying doing that when I was a kid it was fun. And parents didn't have to worry back in those days with kids being poisoned or razor blades in apples.

I'm going to hang out at the Lake this year just don't want to deal with 500 + trick or treaters by myself this year , it used to be fun but I'm done .

Sounds like my neighborhood...Kids are going to get candy with their friends from the street... me and the mrs. gonna have a firepit going in the driveway with a cooler of beers and pass out candy all night.. or until my kids get back home...then its scary movies while I look for my favorite candy in their bags..:bounce:

1/4 mile dark driveway through the woods. First year here, but guessing no kids will venture down that scary lane in the dark.

Yeah, you've seen where I live. Only trick or treaters we've ever had was the niece and nephew when they were kids.

I don’t want to give the wrong impression. We had 200 in Woodstock, but I only handled 1-2 of them before hiding in the man cave.
She gives them all the “ain’t you cute” goobly goop and is a good neighbor.
I get sent to my cave because I give out lectures on not stepping on the flowers or throwing candy wrappers in the yard.

Our Church has a shin dig in the parking lot for the kids and is well supervised.

Yes I see a lot those around my town. A lot of churches call it "trunk or treat" which makes sense, but sounds creepy: so if the kid doesn't get a treat, option B is a car trunk? :cautious: Regardless I love Halloween. It's fun seeing all the really young trick-or-treaters getting such a kick out of it. Sometimes they have really creative, entertaining costumes. And yes I indulge in the candy while I'm waiting for kids to come by. :sneaky:

And I'm not going to lie, some of the young moms escorting their kids are eye candy to go along with the actual candy. ;) Everybody wins!

Never could understand why the idiots in charge have not change Halloween to the last Saturday in October .

We used to get a ton back in the day. Glad my son was able to enjoy those days. Now not a one. We are headed to the beach for the weekend. We will be handing out adult airplane bottles of spirits to all the neighbors. :p

They don't even bother dressing up around here anymore, buncha democrats walking the streets with pillow cases and they expect people to fill em up. May get on roof with a paintball gun and a garden hose for em this year. They'll get nothing and like it.
