It all looks fantastic, but those are my absolute, favorite beans. I'd of been happy with a big bowl of those beans, some onions and half a pan of ? bread.

In a Dutch oven in the oven. 350* for about 2hrs. I use a 1/2 stick of butta with dark meat

I've also cooked them in the crock pot but I cook them on low for about 6 hrs.

I think I like them better in the Dutch oven

Haven't tried the MS style with chicken (I've done about everything else). Have to give that a try.
