Walls of Jericho hike (Hytop, AL.)

We have wanted to hike this trail for a while and finally got some great weather to do it. This is a pretty challenging, yet rewarding hike in some of the most beautiful terrain I’ve seen in AL. It was around a 4 hour hike, 3 miles downhill in and 3 miles uphill out. Walls of Jericho is on the AL/TN line. There are trailheads on each side of the border but the falls are actually in TN from what I understand.

You were just down the road from me!!!!! 30-40 minutes. What sad is I have never been there.

yes, but the main attraction is the tall one that falls into that small gorge

Sure is a cool place to hike. Have you been to buggytop cave near Sherwood? Not much of a cave but almost equally as cool

I have not but will check it out. We may go to
cloudland canyon this weekend.
