Call 3 rivers or lancaster they can help you. They will need the length of the bow (AMO) hopefully its still written on the bow

Ok I was wondering because I have a 30in draw in a compound bow

What is the AMO length of the bow you bought?

30” draw is above average for trad. Also, if that is your modern compound draw length, you may find it shortens an inch or so with trad.

It won’t matter in the beginning but you will want a bow with an AMO length suitable to your draw length.

This is a fast and loose example.
28” draw means 58” recurve or 62” longbow.

These numbers can vary based on bow design and other things.
