I haven't been up that way lately but heard the reds are still on the flats and the trout are startin to get hungry!
Reds are still around, but very spooky, saw a good many, just could not get them to bite. No trout to speak of yet, but that could happen any day now...too windy to check the last few days.
Did get into the whiting last week, entrance of the sound, use small hooks I like a 2, on a carolina rig with bits of peeled shrimp. Musta caught 100 of them, but most were short of the 10" size.
