That stinks.
On the bright side it didn’t happen a week before the season opener.
You have time on your side.
Good luck with your search.

Have been there several times and have fond memories of all the properties hunted in the past. But honestly, for the most part it has always led to something better.

You drive right by 2 of the biggest Hunting Leases in the Country on your way to your High Flutin little Lease.
I can put the word out and get you on a Dog Crew.
Lot's of Hogs and small deer..but you gotta bring your own Whisky . We start early so make it a Big Bottle...

I've had about 10 of those calls thru my years of deer hunting. As I get older, I have a feeling when I get the next few calls, my hunting may be over and I will just fish. Getting harder and harder to find and KEEP a decent hunting spot.

Sorry to hear that man! If you could purchase a small piece of land, in the right location, that would be awesome though!

My landowner of one of my leases called to let me know the property sold.
He's going to give my info to the buyer in case he's interested in leasing it.
We shall see. Meanwhile, it's back to looking for a lease.

Sounds like this is happening way too much anymore.

However, no complaints there.
The landowner took our work/cost into consideration & gave us a very reasonable lease price.
I would lease from him again in a heartbeat. Very good to work with.

That's always a good deal I'd like to find a deal like that .

I'm hoping everything falls in place to buy a piece in the next few years.
Can't afford anything big. Maybe 40 - 60 acres.

If it's good deer habitat that's all you need.
