Beautiful looking bird in that last pic. I killed a Tom about 10yrs ago that matched that one almost exactly. Mines beard was shorter. And I got him in the exact same way, he followed that boss hen right on in.
Just like a old buck, those females will get ya in trouble haha.

Thank you all for the kind words! It was nice reliving the hunt yesterday and today for sure. Looks like around $150 for taxidermy materials, but I’ve got to try it. I’ll post up some pics about deer season.
