What's in your traditional muzzleloader patch box?

While hunting, that is.

Mine has a cleaning jag, a patch puller, and three four musket caps wrapped in a dry patch, incase there is a failure to fire, or one falls off (as happened to me just this last weekend!)

I just about always hunt with Ol' Sparky, my .50 cal. flintlock. I always shoot from my bag, so I don't carry anything in the patchbox. I also don't overload my bag. It has some patch material, a few bullets in a bag, a couple of extra flints, and a small folding knife, and that's about it.

Couple of lubed patches and dry patches, one spare flint and a ball puller. Never really needed any of it since I carry the same stuff in my bag, but it is kind of a belt and suspenders thing.

I usually don't carry much of anything in mine. I only have one rifle with a patch box. I carry my stuff in my shooting bag.

Not a fan of patch boxes. Just never cared for how they look and anything that is made to move will eventually break. If I don’t use a patch box then no need having it.
