When do the deer start to shed? North Grady county?

Hard to say but I would think the end of February. But I have found them in January and seen them still on bucks in early turkey season.

The earliest I've found was Thanksgiving day but I watched a 6 pt. Work a scrape opening day of turkey season with 3 other bucks that had already shed. I guess for the most part I start huntin em around Valentine's day ... honestly I'm always looking any time I'm in the woods.

Late, I'm in very NE Decatur corner - I've seen hard horns during spring turkey season but as a rule, I'd say sometime in early mid March
