I have a couple thousand rounds of 9MM, .22 and .270 and 20 ga ammo that I need to get rid of because moving. Any ideas on where in metro Atlanta I could donate or dispose of it? I heard somewhere police stations might accept it for disposal?

Just drop it off in Centennial Park.

Should take of itself from there.

I run a Youth Program that would gladly accept it. We could use most of it and trade the parts we didn't use. But the GC is in Gainesville and that's a LONGgggg drive.

Train wreck.

+1 for disposal by fire. Stand close so you can count the rounds and make sure every one has been destroyed.
