Which outdoor gun range to join?

I live in Woodstock GA, 64 years old and want to join a shooting club with outdoor ranges (50-300 yards) with an annual membership. I want to shoot centerfire modern and C&R military guns. I have been shooting at the DNR range near Calhoun but want a longer range alternative. Distance and cost are a factor but most of all I want a relaxing uncrowded experience which means shooting at off times but I am retired. From a thread on the Georgia Firing Line Website, I found the following options. Please advise of which club you would recommend. A plus would be if any members are close to Woodstock where we could share gas. I would of course visit the top choices before signing up. Thanks in advance for all replies.

1. Riverbend Gun Club https://www.rbgc.org/content.aspx?page_id=0&club_id=265856

2. Chattanooga Rifle Club https://chattanoogarifleclub.org/

3. Georgia Mountain Shooting Association https://www.gmsaclub.com/

4. Floyd County Wildlife Association https://www.floydcountywildlifeclub.com/

Pickens County Sportsmans Club comes to mind. I don't know if they're takinig on any new members and there's usually a waiting list but it's a pretty good shooting club.

Thanks for the replys. Pickens has a 100 member wait list and estimated 2 year wait. Rates are very reasonable. It is one of the closest, about as close as Riverbend. Might go on a public event and get a sponsor. South River looks like a good club with reasonable rates but it is a drive thru metro Atlanta which can get very long at times. I do know several Riverbend members so I can get sponsors. May just check all 5 ranges out this year and join one in January. Big gamechanger would be if I could get several members in or near Woodstock that shoot at the range to share the gas and have fun at the range. Thanks again.

Would like in addition to rent 1/2 - 1 acre to allow me to practice field target with my springer air rifles as they are quiet and safe so not much land needed. I would not hunt, just target shoot from a fixed set location suitable for the land owner. Only need a 60 yard range and do not have to modify the land as you shoot small metal targets from 8 yards to 55 yards. I live in the City and could get in trouble shooting plus only have 15 yards maximum I can shoot. Neighbors are not fans of any kind of gun when nearby.

Note for the air rifle range, be willing to trade a high end, powerful accurate springer with good scope and plenty of amo I am trying to sell on the classifieds for say 3 years use. Going to pull the ad possibly today and keep the gun. Thanks.
