Why? I've never had a bad day on a public dove field that I can remember.

I’ve always done well on public, only bad dove hunt I’ve ever been on I payed for

That’s what I’m talking about, we got some limits in Al, first hunt in years, that 4 or 5 wardens didn’t sneak in and cover the entire field

Was that at WestPoint? I wondered how those fields are. I live close by but never hunted them.

Was on the field for 8 hours yesterday killed 3 birds out of the 4 I shot at, worst opening day I’ve ever had on public. The state claims to have planted McEntire road vpa with sunflowers and millet. That field hasn’t been mowed or turned over since last year, all the dirt is packed completely down and there’s no sign anything was planted.the warden said it was planted and just didn’t produce but there is no way.
I’m not upset about having a very slow day on the field. what gets me is where does our money go?
They did come in a drag some of the tall grass and weeds down in a couple spots and burned a small section.
