Why Are Turkeys Considered Big Game

But the regs do not define hogs as game animals, they are "invasive species".

However, the Turkey is the biggest, err heaviest, native bird in our state.

Alligator used to be considerd small game back when that started. I thought it weird at the time myself. Gator much bigger than da gobbla.
I aint paid no attention to gator huntin for years so i don't know if it's still the same
