I’m going to announce winners and things of that nature. Been busy getting things in order. Here are the hats I picked up today. My sweet wife gets 2 of them. She got lucky ?

She’s my wife. I’ve been living in the shadow of a total killer. She may look innocent, but her stealth is next to none.

He never has any turkeys. No tracks no sign. Somehow he kills a couple each year. Nicest fellow you would want to meet at the Waffle House !

a family man. Takes everyone turkey hunting. Takes great pics of the family. They have a blast. He’s not afraid to paddle a canoe. He has a new shotgun. His wife got it for him. She was tired of hearing how his old shotgun would fall apart after each shot.

He killed 3 turkeys so fast. He didn’t have time to clean them. Much less cook one. He get the prize for the 1st three.

Well not back to BKW. She got the longest beard. That was my turkey. ?
Her beard stood up to all the turkeys the whole season.

He gets longest spur. Ol arkie has came a long ways in this contest. We never heard of him. He has came in here and killed turkeys. Glad he is playing.

Ok. I want to give Wayne Davis something. He was the 1st one to get DQed. My wife was the other due to my fault.
Wayne gets in here every year and hunts like cra cra. He got a ML kill. Good bird. For his persistence to have a call for him. A scratch box. This call sounds great.
The other one. I’d line to give it to bfiendly
He hunts and he hunts. He is always in contact with his team mates. He’s a WNA hunter. Not many square feet on a WMA he has not been. For that he gets the other call.

I ain’t had no turkeys or tracks in weeks.

Actually had some miniature looking turkey tracks. Was a wondering if there’s shetland turkeys like there’s shetland ponies. Little midget turkeys like them little midget horses. But a friend told me that they were baby geese footprints.

Oh well. Most fun day of my season was my 9 year old grandson killing his first turkey. He’s heard me talking about patience killing birds and he patiently watched the show for probably 2 minutes before he pulled the trigger on his first. One of the most fun moments in my 52 years of hunting critters.

Seatrout and BKW, my favorite thing about the challenge is the bond that’s struck between teammates and honestly with other like minded folks that love turkey hunting. Had a blast with y’all turkey killers.

KMc, thanks for stepping up and making this thing happen. Always a lot of fun (well, except for the pictures for me but that was pretty well made easy and straight forward this year).

It’s always easy to sit back and let someone else take the initiative and do the work. Thanks for jumping in and making this happen.

So only 4 months til bow season...Gotta get ready...
