An arm and a leg high. Just paid $22.25 per sheet for a pallet of 4 x 8 x 7/16 inch OSB. Paid $13.11 in August for the same stuff.

Still stupid high, but I predict it will soon be falling.

Timber prices are stagnated. Haven’t change considerably in at least 10 years.

We just finished cutting on our property. We got $22.50 per ton saw timber, $13.50 per ton chip and saw and $7.50 per ton pulp. The contract for these prices was signed before this spike in lumber prices.

Thanks, heard that the price has 'bout doubled. Time to cut some timber.

Well, I don't know about that, but timber stocks have been rising in value.
Potlach, one of the biggest timber companies in US, and one that owns several sawmills, is appreciating in price, along with others. One of the reasons cited for price increase was covid supposedly shut down some of the mills. I'm long on timber as I believe that is one area where Biden can't screw things up, like he's about to do on oil (shutting down keystone pipeline).
