Wow...does Clemson get it turned around?

Clemson only recruits well in a vacuum. Going into this year they average the 8th best class over the previous 5 years. That places them fifth in the list of best averages over that period. For comparison UGA has had the second best class or better over that 5 year period while Alabama averages a ranking of 2.4 over that time span. The third place team in this list is Ohio State with an average of 5 and 4th is LSU with an average of 7.

If UGA or Alabama either one recruited at their level and played the schedule Clemson played they would have 5 natty's in a row. The next ACC school in that list is Miami at 15th with an average class of 14.8. The SEC has three of the top 4 and 5 of the top 10 with ATM and UF averaging 9.2 and 10.8 respectively. Dabo and Clemson enjoyed a couple of generational level QBs and skill position players, coupled with a 12 game pre-season against inferior opponents, and managed what, 2 Natty's? Impressive, yes, but Clemson is closer to what they are by nature this year than they have been in the previous 5.
Lotta truth in that. They have been very blessed with a flow of top level QBs going back to Boyd. I still believe their roster talent is way above the product they’re putting on the field.

Yep but there isn't ever much of a vacuum and now there is none at all. Bama, UGA and Auburn are sucking all the air out of Dabo's recruiting chances. UT, USCe and GT will pick the bones clean.

Clemson lost 20 or so players to the transfer portal recently

Didn't realize it was that high a number of transfers. Wonder how many transferred in?

mmm.....Barners?? No.
UT maybe.... not so sure bout USC lite & Tech. Yardbirds might pick up some in state dudes, but tech is on life support sucking the hind teat.

Barners yep. All of those teams put pressure on the recruiting process both in the region and in Clemson's back yard too. Clemson gets lucky and steals a good player now and then but their star is fading and the SEC teams are coming on strong. That makes it even harder for Clemson to recruit in the southeast.

Not to mention they are ACC. There's a lot more opportunities with the SEC schools.

I love watching Clempsun deteriorate. I mean not as much as Flarduh, Tennessee, Tech and Aubarn but they’re up there

I wonder if that Clemson QB is still pimping it up walking into the locker room like he did before the Georgia game? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
