Was wondering if anyone has tried the XOP treestand transport system on their Summit Viper and how it fits and works?
Thanks

I put one of these on my viper before last season. You need to replace the factory seat with a hazemore (or similar) seat in order to mount it.
It's ok. I probably just needed more time to get used to it. I found it transfers a lot of the weight of the stand to my hip flexors, which was really tough on long or uphill hikes. Then again, the factory shoulder straps put all the weight on your back and shoulders which is rough on long hikes too.

Thanks for the info. I have the Hazmore seat on there already. Did you have any issues with attaching it to the stand, is there any slop or pretty tight fit? I hunt mainly the mountains, so I dont want it bouncing around.

I would have to take a look and confirm but i'm pretty sure all the attachment straps have buckles so the whole thing can be cinched down tight against the stand.
You might have to retighten the straps occasionally if they slip but i don't remember having had to do that at any point last season.
It's got 8 attachment points so the stand should not be bouncing around once it's mounted properly.

Thanks for the info. Put one on the Summit over the weekend and really like it.
