Well, the Federal Homeland Security bunch came down to Knox County Kentucky this week to give the county officials their Terrorist check up and it appears they passed. The "Team of Experts" spent several days and got headlines in the paper every day as the searched for possible terroristic opportunities in Knox County. The local officials were pleased when they got the results of the study, but you just have to wonder about the sanity of this mission.
I wonder which terrorists they were looking for? Was it the Deputy Jailer that got drunk with the prisoner in the jail car and commenced to pulling people over on I-75 in Lexington extorting money from them so they could buy more beer. Was it the County Judge Executive who slapped his wife when she left him and tried to take his pickup truck with her. Maybe it was the County Judge when he hit the Repo man in the nose for taking some of the bank's belongings back to the bank. Maybe it was the Jailer and the Sheriff who had a boxing match in the courthouse where both of them had to go before the judge with fat lips? It could have been the Magistrate who wrote the $40,000 cold check to the oil company? What about the drunk men from the VFW who stole the canon off the courthouse lawn and relocated it to the VFW hall? Maybe it was that man that shot his x-wife 6 times in the funeral home?
Heaven forbid Abdulla comes to Barbourville to try to terrorize the good folks over there.
