Anyone else going to try to make it to the woods this afternoon? I'm leaving work at noon and should be in the woods by 1:30.

I'm is!! Landowner saw a bigun in the pasture behind his house at 10 am, 3 pm, and 7pm yesterday. Never strutted just stood and looked and chased a jake off. He did not gobble this a.m. either. Sounds like an old tom. Hope to have a picture of him soon. Landowner said he will call my cell when he spots him again, Can't beat that.

Yes I did and it was worth it. My buddy and I doubled up saturday morning. Will post pics and story on the turkey talk forum.

It gets dark around 8:30. You will have a couple of hours.
