Finally got me a nanny!

After 3 missed shots I finally shot a doe. I have hunted everyweekend since the opener and took til Monday to get one. I know it is just a doe but I have worked my tail off to get one with my bow. Shot it in Harris County.

any bow kill is well deserved so certainly don't belittle killing a doe. i'd kill a nice doe any day over a small buck.

for the past week and a half i haven't had a chance to draw back because i haven't seen any deer! glad i bagged two does in the opening weeks.

I shot this doe with a rocket expandable broadhead 2.1/4 cut. and those are the best broadheads made. This doe was shot quartering to me and the arrow went out the guts and she might have gone 20 yards.
