The first day of the season is like Christmas to me. I don't even have to see a deer. There won't be much sleep tonight. If anybody in Walker or Catoosa scores opening day please post it.

but I have been bow hunting and taken a doe. I am as excited about the temp's in the AM as I am about the gun opener....I will be carrying both gun and bow tommorrow, it is nice to know that if I need to reach out there and touch that monster buck that hangs up ouit of bow range I can.

Where am I hunting?
I hunt on West Cove Road on the side of Lookout Mtn and also off of Peavine Road in Rock Spring.
