hernia

My 8 year old beagle has a hernia. Anyone else had to deal with this? Vet going to fix it next week.

I saw a pup born with one along time ago. That pup didn't make it, but the vet said he was too young to fix.

if she's not already spayed i'd talk to the vet about doing it while he's ''in there''. extra cost should be nill....this would prevent any extra strain on her in the future.
