Question on box calls

I've heard folks talk about box calls being weather sensitive. I swear my Cutter is. Have any of you experienced this with your box calls?

Definitely.

The fog can definitely deaden a call. Some types of woods are worse than others because they're more pourous.

OHHHH yeah, some pot calls too, especially aluminum. Any type of friction call will do it.

I have the most trouble in the mornings for sure.

Yep. That is why I rely so much on a diaphram.
