Did all this rain affect the poults of 2009?

just bored and thought i had a superb question for the enthusiasts here. I hunt a lot of swamp bottoms and flood areas and was wonderin if those lil poults could get to high ground enough to survive, or if they got flushed down natures toilet

Some say it probably doesn't hurt them. Most say it does. But evidently there has never been enough real research done to definitively answer that question.

I saw 19 jakes at the end of deer season and I've see a ton of small hens through out deer season.

Wet eggs dont hatch. Turkeys cant swim. We will have to wait and see as to the extent of the damage.
