looking to get a gps, never uesd 1 before but just joined a new club and thought 1 might be helpfull while getting to know the land, any1 have any thoughts on what kind/options I should look 4, NOT real high tec minded here so something fairly simple 2 use THANKS :huh:

I just got a Garmin eTrex Legend from the Swap and Sell forums here and its great. Gets me from point A to point B and very easy to use.

Don't get a Magellan from Wal-Mart. Look at the reviews on those things they are awful! I second the Garmin Etrex, I got the TOPO maps on mine off the web and it's great. Some reflective tape on a stand still helps in the wee hours of the morning though.

Basspro has the Garmin 60MAPCSX on sale for $199 right now. That's $170 off of normal retail. I paid $299 for mine and love it.
