Movie folk rented a big air B&B lake Lanier house around the corner from me a few years back when they were filming the movie Blended, Adam Sandler stayed in it for a month with armed security camped in trailers in the front yard. I heard from the neighbors they paid 12k a week to rent it.

Funny, my first thought was "Why would Adam Sandler need security?".

Marvel pays stupid money. Other major players pay very well, they take care and have no problem with repairs and replacement. Often theyll even send you on a nice vacation or put you up in very nice accomodations while they shoot.
Independant flm makers NO WAY. low budgets and sketchy in all aspects including may fold and dissapear.

Make them put a big deposit up front as well as pay for the use. Once things are returned to "as they were" you can return the deposit.

The film company would have to make a guaranteed "block buster" to recoup the cost of building an actual, functioning Golden Corral within waddling distance of the set.

Used my boat in a commercial for WWE a few years back. I spent a day on the shoot and they paid very well, and had the boat detailed for me afterwards.

We considered it a few times. We had a few opportunities when Ozarks was filming a mile from the house. We almost rented them a car for a shoot but they selected a more drug dealery car.

Bringing the director over in a couple of hours to decide if he wants this location . They picked my neighbor hood because we have what I have been told , The Norman Rockwell look , I live with my dog my house is nice but not magazine nice , I'm not worried about anything , my house has a little of the lived in look with some wear on wood floors but I don't care . If they use my house in a porne movie I will insist they show my address .

I meant to the state not my house. Folks sit here and complain about how the south is changin and Georgia turnin blue and here we are talking about making deals with the very people driving that change. As for me and mine, the movie industry can keep their money and there liberal values and go back to the west coast.

My buddy rented his house a long time ago for Remember the Titans. Denzel Washington's house in the movie. They took great care of it, put it all back, and paid his mortgage for over a year...

They paid a crummy motel so
much to film there in Savannah, the owner shut it down until further notice.
