Croakers are delicious; one of my favorite salt water fish. I prefer to whiting. Went to old 17 bridge over Turtle river for purpose of catching a mess which I did in spite of 15 mph wind. Caught limit of 15 Croaker and a couple of other fish. We ate all of 'em.

Nice! Used to love catching them half a mile off the beach when I was a kid!

I grew up catching them on vacation on the coast. We would catch enough for the whole family of 2 adults and 4 kids. 25 years ago used to go with a friend to Turtle river. We'd launch our small boat and fish in channel at bridge and catch sometimes close to 100 and good sized ones.

Looks awesome! I caught a mess of these for the first time around February and fried them up. Almost as good as a bream.

Fun to catch too.
