We use ours a lot. Cooks meatloaf and mashed potatoes in about 35 minutes and spaghetti in about 10

I’ll play devils advocate here. We got one for Christmas and have used it twice. Once on a roast and once for pork chops. Neither one cooked the meat as tender as we would have liked. Flavor wasn’t there either because the juices didn’t soak into the meat. All in all, it was bland, dry, and tough as a shoe.

We haven’t given up on it yet, but not sure it’ll become a staple in our kitchen.

I admit, I used only the recipes that I could adapt in the itty bitty cook book that came with mine, but once I started playing with it, I'm liking it more & more! Made my lemon pepper chicken last night, started with 4 FROZEN leg quarters, put my seasoning in, cooked 30 minutes, wasn't pleased with that, put it on for 15 more (I think), then put in under the broiler with onion slices & butter.......... fall off the bone homerun!

3 NEW items fixed this past weekend..... facepalm:I got to remember pictures!
1st was lasagna...... didn't have ricotta, used cottage, didn't have mozzarella, used cheddar........other than that, it was gooey good!!
2nd was an oreo crusted cream cheese cake topped with milk chocolate for my daughters birthday, she said she started to take it with her to work last night, but glad she didn't, said she would have eaten the whole thing!:D
3rd was a key lime pie........... company was fixing to leave so it didn't get to set for 4 hours, but it passed muster too!

A lil stew

Wifey got me an instant pot for my birthday last month and we have loved it. Everything from fresh peas to spaghetti to a lil Brunswick stew.........

I started out cooking the chicken in it and poured up the stock and breast. Then I put the breast in the mixer to pull the meat. Then I browned the ground beef in it and added a bag of pulled pork I had in the fridge from a previous butt i smoked. Then some kern, maters, peas, butter beans and yea I did put taters in it.
