Arrest max approved vs gly

Been looking into whitetail institutes products. Many of them say they are arrest max approved. Is this the equivalent of being round up ready? Wondering because their herbicides are way over priced and would like to find something that would be equally as safe on their products

No, not nearly the same as roundup ready. The Arrest Max is a selective Clethodim-based herbicide that kills grasses, but not most broadleaf plants. Roundup kills it all. Roundup-ready crops are genetically engineered to be resistant to glyphosate.

You can probably find an equivilent Clethodim formulation packaged for agricultural use (such as Arrow and several other trade names,) that is cheaper than the WI product. It is a common herbicide used to kill grass out of soybeans and other broadleaf crops.

Most local feed and seed stores will have the equivalent to Arrest. Only problem is that you may have to buy a big container of it because you are required to have a label with it when purchased. Unless they can give you a small amount with a warning label.
