The trout are biting. They seem to be in good numbers too. Water temps are great and water clarity is awesome in most areas right now. I’m finding trout working plastics off of ledges and drop offs, similar to working a plastic worm for bass. Curly tails work better for this than paddle tails IMO. That or trout tricks. I was out for only 2 hours yesterday morning before getting rained on and caught a dozen. I came home with 5 after throwing back a couple over 17” and a couple shorts. Fished one ledge drifting down with the tide. I’m also seeing good signs of bait too. It should be a pretty good year for trout, even with the extreme cold water we’ve had. Troutman Tripp is back on the water after almost 7 months. Bout darn time!!!
PS. Those coordinance numbers will lead you to the middle of the river. But...the hole is close to there. If I see you in the hole and yell GO DAWGS!! you know its me.
