Gone But Not Forgotten
There was a POW camp at Spence Field also.
Yea I have been to the Monument at the plants main gate."The only remaining building from the camp is the mess hall, which sits on a corner of a Milliken & Company textile plant. The Patterson Pump Company occupies another portion of the grounds."
We've bought pump parts from Patterson. Interesting history as well.

We have a cabin in the mountains near Toccoa. The museum in Toccoa is well worth the time or drive to visit. They have everything you can imagine from weapons to walls covered the the decorations they earned in WWII. To anyone interested in WWII History, it is a must see.
In France, Sainte Mere Eglais ,a church shows their respect of our war fighters..

It took us long to go through the WWII area of the museum, we did not see the Vietnam exhibit. As I served in Vietnam as a 11B4P, we will return..
