The kingfish have slowed down and the bottom has picked up. This is an awesome time of the year for bottom fishing. Never know what you are going to put a hook into. I was picking through throwback seabass with SemperfiDawg and next thing, and I was getting frustrated then we had a triple hook up. Two bull reds and a nice Gag. It was flat calm out there despite the bad forecast. Then on Friday the 17 of November (the day prior) the forecast was way wrong the other way. Ended up 4-5ft stacked up with the occasional 6 to give us a rinse. Still some very nice seabass and a bonus bull red. I have learned very quickly to not rely heavily on the forecast.
The inshore has been good. Some really good days with some average days. Plenty of action with throwbacks which should slow down as the water temp drops.
