Ive been hunting hardwoods all season and saw a lot of deer, now that the acorns are gone i was wondering where/how to hunt. Im seeing fewer and fewer deer. I have no food plots or feeders. What will the be eating?

X2. Mature hardwoods also don't provide any thermal cover this time of year either. The deer need thicker stuff to bed in an stay warm. It gets cold laying down on leaves in the middle of a open hardwood bottom this time of year. Even if you don't have a food plot, hunt near whatever you have that is thick.
