I am planning on taking my kids hunting next week for youth hunt at Oaky woods. I have not hunted there in years . I was wondering if anyone could help me with a good spot to take them for good chance at a deer. Not looking for a monster buck, does are good. They have not shot anything before so any help would be great thanks. We are not members of a hunting club so this may be their chance to get one.

Oaky woods might be the name of a place. Scrub oak and piney woods is the name of a Reqion.

Talk to the area ranger, May still be Ray Jones not sure. They are really nice guys that try and help with kids. If you have a chance before hand ride out and look some, check regs for small game hunts and etc use them to scout.
