summer training

anybody training this summer?? starting to get super hot.

we've been taking ours a couple times a week and usually after about an hour they are not hard to catch at all

I try my best to get pups a good start before the gators come out. I don't mind letting pups think about what they learned in winter all summer. I do not care if a pup is barking up a tree at seven to twelve months old. I am not much impressed. If I only had one puppy and no old dogs to train it with I would feel different. But I have ben that route. Sometimes I have to take a pup around mutton corn or peanuts because the farmer calls and I hunt there deer season or not . I will go but I do not take an old dog that might get gator ate. Chances are good around mutton corn they will climb the first tree they get to anyway so it can do good. On the other hand, you train a pup to regularly tree on the first tree it gets to, you got a ruined pup. JMO. Everybody has their opinion.
