1-12 Lanier Crappie Fishing

Well its that time of year again. Yesterday was the first crappie trip of the year. I've been messing around with them this past month while striper fishing but yesterday thats all we did. They are stacked on deep water docks. All of them caught on slow moving 1/32oz jigs of all kinds. None of the jigs really out produce the rest. Now is a great time to get out there and fill your freezer!!

Nice, May I ask ( this may be dumb ? ) were you casting and retreiving or jigging the jig up and down slowly over the fish?

Some of both but vertical jigging produced the most.
