Up a pine in an open spot on Sapelo. I’ve got plenty of oaks with me but few acorns on the ground. They seem to be getting sucked up really quick. I’m at a few splashed before light and 3 squirrels. I heard 3 shots around 7:30 and I guess they found the deer because I can hear their excitement. Good luck to all who are hunting this morning.

Bow hunting a beautiful acorn Ridge in Oglethorpe County this morning. White oaks are falling heavy. Just ranged 4 does and was going to shoot the biggest one. Started to draw my bow but they spooked and ran straight under me and kept going. I couldn’t figure it out and then saw two dogs coming up the creek that belong to the neighbor. Oh well still early hoping they come back
