Public land early gun hunt for me. See if we can’t even the score with a couple of deer that gave me the slip with a bow. Watching over a creek bottom that kind of forms a pinch.

Haven't been able to draw a breath for 15 minutes because of a little tiny doe walking all over and around me...Looked me in the eyes at about 25', and never did quite figure me out.
Glad she's gone, and hope she learned something... ?
It is prime time and absolutely dead around me. Very surprised to have not seen anything.

Had a 6 point come by about 30 minutes ago but out of bow range he turned and went back up the ridge I'm hoping he circles back around and comes back in range
Giving it another 15 minutes and making a plan for this evening. Got a couple spots to check that may be better than where I am currently.
