12/31/22 Good Morning

Me and a Buddy hunted my swamp in Spalding Co. Tried to get my son up but he wouldn’t move. So I loaded his dog Kane and we headed out. Saw 14 wood ducks they didn’t give us a shot 5 teal no shots. The geese came in pairs 10 mins apart. And a pair of mergansers when we were about to leave. Buddy got the hen. The goose was 7 yrs old banded in Locust Grove Ga. Kane made all the retrieves and did very good can’t complain too much and he’s just turned 2.

She was something else. I Watched her cause a 8 Thousand dollar dog to be put up and not hunted one cold afternoon in Canada. I remember when she turned her back to you and wouldn't even look at you.
